Our story begins with Neil, whose love for adventure was ignited at an early age as his parents whisked him away on caravan trips around the breathtaking landscapes of Scotland. Neil fondly recalls those days, saying, “We would go for two or three weeks at a time, my folks would have the itinerary all planned, with two or three nights here and there. It was very exciting going to different campsites, meeting new people and exploring the land. It didn’t matter what the weather was like – we just had so much fun!”
With time, Neil witnessed the evolution of campervan technology and recognized the incredible potential for self-contained travel experiences. However, he couldn’t ignore the cookie-cutter approach of commercial, mass-produced vans. Many lacked the personal touch and quality he believed every adventurer deserved, often accompanied by an exorbitant price tag. In response, Off Grid Campervans was born.
